Ruby Falls - Lookout Mountain is widely known for its many unusual geological features. The most unique of which being Ruby Falls, a 145 foot underground waterfall located over 1120 feet beneath the mountain’s surface. The fascinating story of the formation of Lookout Mountain, the Ruby Falls cave and Ruby Falls itself is told by how the rocks that formed each of these wonders did so.
See Rock City - Located atop Lookout Mountain, just 6 miles from downtown Chattanooga, Rock City is a true marvel of nature featuring massive ancient rock formations, gardens with over 400 native plant species, and breathtaking "See 7 States" panoramic views. Take an unforgettable journey along the Enchanted Trail where each step reveals natural beauty and wonders along the woodland path.
Tennessee Aquarium and Imax 3D (Chattanooga) - Your Tennessee Aquarium experience, which will take at least two hours, and includes admission to two buildings: River Journey and Ocean Journey. Your tickets are good all day, so feel free to catch a bite or sneak a peek at an IMAX 3D film between buildings.
Lookout Mountain Incline Railway - Sit back, relax and enjoy as you are taken up and down the side of Lookout Mountain, gaze at the scenic view from the observation windows on the Incline Train and enjoy the panoramic view from the observation tower at the Incline Railway’s top station.  You will marvel at the view from the highest overlook on Lookout Mountain.   On a clear day you can see the Great Smoky Mountains which are over 100 miles away!!!
Lookout Mountain Hangliding -
Lookout Mountain Flight Park is the largest and most successful full time hang gliding school and resort in the United States. We teach and certify more hang glider pilots than any other school in the country. We have taught people from ages 12 to folks into their seventies.Our instructors are USHPA (United States Hang Gliding and Paragliding Association) certified and insured and teach hang gliding 7 days a week.

Little River Canyon Field School - The canyon area is extraordinary in both its geology and biology. As the river winds through its course, nearly 600 feet deep at some locations, it creates a mosaic of micro-habitats that support unique assemblages of plants and animals. A few of these plants and animals are known to exist only on Lookout Mountain. A number of plant, fish, insect, and amphibian species are federally listed as threatened or endangered.
